Louda y Los Bad Hombres

MEET LOUDA

Laura Louda Raquel Camacho is a rising star in the music industry, known for her powerful vocals, unique fusion of hip-hop and Latin styles, and her curiosity for new sounds. She was born and raised in Chicago, where her musical journey began when she auditioned for the school choir with no prior vocal training. She quickly discovered her natural talent and passion for music, which led her to pursue a performance scholarship at Northeastern Illinois University with the support of a high school mentor.
Although Louda found success as a classical performer, she still yearned for something more. She began to experiment with writing and producing her own music, which led to the creation of her debut album, Feedback. Continually evolving her lyrics, music, style, and name, exploring new sounds and influences that have shaped her unique musical spectrum delivering many R&B and hip-hop tracks with a gamut of different melodies and themes, such as never-ending love and the enjoyment of life in songs like, “Bells”, “End of Summer,” “Equity” and “Fresita”. But Louda's musical journey was far from over.
She splits her time between Chicago and California, where she has become a force to be reckoned with in the industry. In 2017, Louda partnered with Leo Nava and founded LOUDA y Los Bad Hombres, a genre-crossing group that blends traditional Salsa, Cumbia, Jazz, Rock & Roll, Soul, and Hip-Hop. The diversity of styles reflects the diverse city she grew up in and the diverse community of Oakland where she now resides. Each member of the group has trained in their artistic discipline for over 15 years and has played in or currently participates in at least three other projects.
Alongside her six-piece live band, LOUDA y Los Bad Hombres, she is dedicated to preserving historical Afro-Cuban and Latinx genres while also exploring new musical territory. Recently, Louda has released Spanish-singing singles “Deja Que Baila,” and “Deja nos En Paz,” which highlights her cultural versatility and artistry.
Her name, which she describes as feeling "ahead of me," perfectly captures the momentum and excitement of her rapidly growing career. Louda's passion for music is palpable in every note she sings and every beat she produces. Her dedication to her craft has made her a rising star in the industry, and her future is brighter than ever. With her powerhouse vocals and infectious stage presence, Louda is poised to become a force to be reckoned with in the world of music.
Combined, the group has performed at over 100 venues and festivals across the Bay Area, and has independently produced tours to Chicago, Los Angeles, Santa Ana, and San Diego.
